Fameccanica/JOA baby diaper line

Completely refurbished (2023) baby diaper production line, for 3 sizes (medium, maxi and junior) with maximum speed of 400 ppm, producing a quality diaper with the following structure:
- fluff core with channels and SAP, nonwoven topsheet, poly or breathable backsheet, acquisition layer, frontal tape - glued in-line, elastic legs, elastic leg cuffs, complete elastic back ears with mechanical tapes, complete front ears.
Machine configuration:
- cellulose pulp unwinding
- screen-less hammermill with single feeding system
- BRAND NEW rotary drum forming section with forming moulds including CHANNELS
- rolling brush to level the fluff pads
- BRAND NEW welding unit for CHANNELS
- rotating transfer unit to transfer pads from the drum former to the conveyor belt
- wheel with moulds
- complete SAP-application system to apply directly to the drum forming
- complete rotary filter system to treat the volume of air arriving from the production line
- included also all straight and 90 degree piping for all the air connections between filter, mill and drum forming - customized according to layout agreed with Client.

- all pulling units, application of in-line frontal tap, application of cutting and opening nonwoven for leg cuffs, application of tape for 1 tape per each side of the back ears, longitudinal folding, bi-folding, complete with Nordson hotmelt system (Versablue model for the side panels), complete with tanks, tubes, and guns.
- the electrical system is completely remade and will be supplied complete with main panel, motors, fans, control boxes and drive panel for the operator. All drives, brushless motors, touch panel and PLC are all Allen Bradley - made and configured in 2022.

Control system for the side panels: Siemens S7 PLC
Pneumatic components for the distribution of compressed air, complete with pipes, lubrication and dehumidifiers, electrically controlled valves. The pneumatic system is BRAND NEW.
Exit in horizontal stacker and automatic packaging machine (fully refurbished in 2022).
